Surveys

Three surveys were distributed in Fall 2001, Winter 2002, and Spring 2002. These surveys helped gauge community opinion regarding the draft options packages. Results from each survey can be found below.

Spring 2002 Surveys

In June 2002, before the Task Force adopted the Final Strategic Plan, the I-5 Partnership held two Open Houses and conducted an on-line survey to get feed back on the Final Draft Recommendations. Participants were asked to rate the acceptability of individual key elements of the recommendations and the acceptability of the recommendations overall. They were also asked to share their thoughts on what they considered the strengths and weaknesses of the recommendations, as well as any other comments. Winter 2002 Surveys

In January 2002, the I-5 Partnership Project solicited feedback from the Community Forum, corridor stakeholders, and the general public regarding the Task Force’s Working Draft Recommendations. Click here for a results report.

Fall 2001 Surveys

Several surveys have gathered opinions for the Task Force. For an overview of the results see the graphs.

The overall impressions is a compilation of the percent and number of "Yes" responses for various improvement options on the surveys described below. Or see the results of the surveys individually.

• The mail-out survey was mailed to over 9000 names on our mailing list. Three hundred and twenty five were returned in time to be tabulated for the December 11 Task Force meeting.
• People at the Open Houses held in Portland and Vancouver in November completed surveys.
• Handout surveys were distributed at community meetings and to homes in the corridor. Sixty-seven of these were returned.
• The web survey was posted on our web site and had six hundred twenty three responses.
• The Community Forum members and participants at a Community Forum meeting also filled out a survey.
